Why we do what we do:

CG believes that everyone has the right to a clean and healthy environment
In reality, this right is not realised equally amongst and within all communities
This difference is manifested in the lack of recognition and participation by excluded communities
CG works to increase participation of these communities in the decision making processes that affect their lives, and
raise awareness of environmental justice and injustice for policymakers, government, media, academics and the
public

Who funds our work:

Government departments and agencies (e.g. GLA, Defra, DCLG, British Council, FCO, European Union)
Poverty-related (e.g. Oxfam)
Environmental (e.g. Friends of the Earth, Greenpeace)
Community-related (e.g. London 21, LSX, Joseph Rowntree Foundation)
