Green jobs, funding and well-being for BME, Refugee, Faith Communities
Improving Reach, in partnership with Capacity Global, Islington Council and Islington BME Forum invite you to a morning of workshops, discussion & networking, to promote green inclusion for BME, Refugee and Faith communities. The event will look at environmental sustainability to support organisations in the creation of jobs, funding, conserving energy and money and promoting health and wellbeing for our communities.

A one day course about engaging with diverse and excluded communities on climate change and the environment
he course will help you to:

Gain a wider understanding of working with diverse communities and groups on climate change and environment
Enhance your skills on engaging excluded organisations
Understand how relevant legislation and work on impact assessments afects and informs your work
Identify ways to get funding and resources for this work
Develop an engagement plan to work with diverse communities and groups
Assess and understand the demographics of an area and the implications of these figures for
your work
