Every Action Counts (EAC) is a nationwide initiative designed to help individuals, community workers and the third sector improve their communities and environment. Launched in June 2006, funded by the Department for the Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) and delivered through a consortium of voluntary and community sector organisations, EAC celebrates the steps taken by people nation wide, as they work towards developing sustainable local communities.
As part of the Every Action Counts team, Capacity Global collects inspirational real-life stories that capture day-to-day experiences from members of the public as they reduce carbon emissions, recycle waste, save energy and buy locally. To promote good practice on ethical living, stories are documented as case studies and shared amongst project partners and participants.
For more information about ethical living, or how to get involved, go to the 'Every Action Counts' website.
